DomestiSure SA respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we process, why we process it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
1. Who we are
DomestiSure SA operates a digital membership platform for employment support, UIF, contracts, documents and related member services. Contact: via the Contact page on domestisuresa.co.za.
2. Information we process
We may process identity and contact details, employment and UIF information, contract particulars, uploaded documents, support correspondence, payment references, device/session metadata (IP, approximate location for security), and account activity logs.
3. Purpose & lawful basis
Information is processed to register and manage memberships, deliver UIF and contract workflows, enable partner review, process payments, provide support, secure accounts, and meet legal obligations — based on consent, contract, and legitimate interests where applicable.
4. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, membership duration, dispute resolution, and statutory retention (for example tax or labour record-keeping). When no longer required, records are deleted or de-identified.
5. Sharing & operators
Verified partner organisations and technical operators may access information strictly as required to fulfil member requests. Operators are expected to apply appropriate security safeguards.
6. Security
We apply access control, encrypted transport (HTTPS), monitoring of suspicious login activity, and role-based portals. No system is completely risk-free; please use a strong unique password and report suspected misuse promptly.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information (subject to legal exceptions), object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Use the Contact page to submit a request.
8. Breaches
If a security compromise affecting personal information is confirmed, we will assess impact and notify affected parties and the Information Regulator as required by law.
